Holy Cross Painting Course

Resident trainees help spruce up Holy Cross Church

At the end of March, Borehamwood residents were able to benefit from a week long painting and decorating course organised by Affinity Sutton in partnership with the Apollo Group.14 unemployed residents were trained in surface preparation, application of different types of paint and how to operate and use a mobile tower safely.

Following the popularity of this course and the commitment and dedication shown by the residents in transforming Holy Cross Church hall in Borehamwood, Apollo have agreed to run more construction related courses. We are also working with other contractors to create more opportunities to help residents back to work.
