Street Games - Engaging Neighbourhoods in Sport
StreetGames, the national sports charity, is creating eight sport hubs across eight London estates, including Turpington Lane and Leybridge Court, after being successful in its bid to the Mayor’s Legacy Sports Participation Fund.
Sporting it large in Bromley and Lewisham
StreetGames specialises in offering sports opportunities to
young people, using its doorstep sport method - sport at the right
time, for the right price, in the right place and in the right
style.
Affinity Sutton is moving forward with planned activities to
deliver tasters and weekly sessions to residents in and around the
estates above, located in Bromley and Lewisham.
Our planned sessions will commence at the end of January 2012,
leading into the February half term and continuing throughout the
year. Our weekly sessions will be geared towards working in
partnerships with local groups and hosting regular friendly
competitions.
