Fun in the sun @ Sunnydene Park

Over the last two years Affinity Sutton have been refurbishing the park in St Budeaux.  This has been supported by Apollo, Neighbourhood Policing Team many of whom have gone that extra mile even down to laying and watering the turf to make this area a more enjoyable family space.

Today saw a funday held to celebrate the completion of the second phase of the improvements.  Over 50 adults and young people turned out to bask in the sunshine whilst being entertained by “stiltskin” who provided three story telling workshops which had the children enthralled and  “annies funny faces” who provided fantastic face painting and glitter tattoos for the whole family.

Youngsters also had the chance to learn some new skills with “barefoot” showing them how to make cress heads which they then decorated and took home and Plymouth Sports Academy had them ‘slam dunking’ and ‘dribbling’ throughout the event.
