On the 8th of January 2012 it was my pleasure to accompany a merry band of Plymouth residents from St Budeaux, Crownhill,Leigham and Stonehouse, picking up reinforcements on the way in Exeter from Water Lane and then on our merry way to Bristol.

Finally arrived at Pritchard Street Bristol

The reason for this trip was two fold, to gain some insight into other estates, Brislington and Bush Court , on how they are laid out and how the community interact with each other.

The estates where clean and tidy, we were met at Bush Court by one of the residents and  taken to the common room, which was one of the house units that had been set aside for gathering and social events. Again it was very pleasant, clean, and well laidout with adequate seating, where we where made to feel at home, with tea and cake. Yum yum.

Secondly on a more serious note…….

Finally arrived back at Pritchard Street Bristol “Affinity Sutton  RAP SW meeting” a group discussion on topics that we all have some input at times,

·        Neighborhood and estate management

·        Anti Social behaviour

·        Repairs.

Our input was to discuses various headings and prioritise within each subject. This input will be put together to form the SW RAP action plan. Finishing off with a well-deserved buffet, spuds-u-like, then home James.
