Passion 4 Fashion

Over 60 people in Leeds have taken part in workshops as part of Passion4Fashion this March. Participants each received a small budget and worked with local established 'eco' designers to create fantastic outfits from charity-shop finds.

In front of a capacity crowd at Leeds Town Hall, the participants took to the catwalk to strut their stuff and show off exactly what can be made on a tiny budget.

As well as developing their outfits, participants have learnt about the importance of managing their money through weekly budgeting sessions and completed a money skills workshop. Advisors from Job Centre Plus have also worked on a one-to-one basis, to support participants with a range of employment, training and financial services to suit their needs.
