Tell us what you think
In 2009 we simplified the way the Group operates by
bringing together all our staff and services into a single
structure. The next stage is to amalgamate the three housing
associations within the Affinity Sutton Group.
We sent you our leaflet 'Simplifying our
organisation - tell us what you think' and you may have contributed
to consultation process.
The consultation outlined that by simplifying
our structure we will be able to:
- Develop a stronger and more efficient
organisation, which focuses on one set of priorities which are
shaped by residents.
- Make quicker decisions and deliver service
improvement more quickly.
- Combine our resources to deliver more savings
to put back into improving services and investing in our homes and
communities.
- Deliver more opportunities for resident
involvement at the strategic level through the creation of Regional
Scrutiny Boards and a National Residents’ Council, as well as
places for residents on the Affinity Sutton Homes Board.
During the consultation we received feedback
from residents with 67% being either in favour or supportive of the
proposals.
The next stage of the
process was to
ask the shareholders to vote on the proposals. This vote has now taken place with the
majority of shareholders in favour of the proposal. We will be

mean for you.
