Affordable rent properties for working individuals, couples and families

As a business for social purpose we’re committed to building more affordable homes, and under the Government’s new Affordable Rent model this means we need to let homes at up to 80% of market rent.  We do think that the Government’s Affordable Rent programme provides a real opportunity to bridge the housing affordability gap for low income working families currently struggling to pay 100% market rent in the private rented sector

The properties that we are targeting with our Rent4Less product are a very small proportion of our total lettings and means that we can offer homes to low income working households otherwise excluded from affordable housing.  However the vast majority of our properties will still predominantly be let to those in greatest housing need.
