Graylingwell

The innovative scheme located on
the former Graylingwell hospital site in
Chichester incorporates 750 new homes, a range of community
amenities, public open space, enhanced historic parkland,
commercial accommodation and artists studios.
Many existing buildings are to be retained and
sensitively restored including a grade II farmhouse and chapel, a
water tower, and the Queen Anne style hospital buildings designed
by Victorian architect Arthur Blomfield. 40% of the homes will be
available for affordable rent and part buy/part rent.
Construction of the first phase of 110 homes
started in October 2009. The developer is a joint venture between
Linden Homes and Affinity Sutton.
