FutureFit Stakeholder Workshops
The FutureFit project aimed to engage with an audience outside
of those directly affected, so that staff and residents could be
made aware of the carbon agenda
The project held
four workshops with residents and staff not involved in
the project to introduce them to the FutureFit project and retrofit
as a whole process - from why it is needed and what can be
installed to how the works could be funded.
Workshops
There are three stages to the
process
Step 1: Staff and residents come together
to learn about low carbon retrofits, visit a void property and then
come up with a package of planned works which would then
be installed to the property
Step 2: Workshop attendees are given
the chance to visit the property whilst the works are taking
place to see the retrofit process in action
Step 3: Workshop attendees get
to see the completed property and are introduced
to funding possibilities. The attendees are then offered
monthly updates on how the property is performing
