Our commitment to the environment
At Affinity Sutton we recognise the potentially damaging
impact that our activities can have on the environment. We
are committed to reducing this impact, as well as promoting
positive behaviours.
Our environmental sustainability vision
‘To be respected for our active commitment
to reducing our environmental impact; to provide energy efficient
and affordable homes and to create a culture that is enthusiastic
and dedicated to green behaviours amongst our staff, our customers
and our partners.’
To achieve and guide our vision we launched
our Environmental Sustainability Strategy in 2010. Our strategy
identifies a number of key areas where we feel we can reduce any
negative impacts on the environment:
- The ways we work and the environments we work
in.
- Our new homes development programme.
- Our existing homes investment
activities.
- How we engage with our customers to promote
responsible environmental behaviour.
- Who we work with and the supply chains we
use.
