Affinity Sutton Board members
The Affinity Sutton Group is overseen
by a board which brings a broad range of skills, experience and
knowledge to their role from fields ranging from legal services,
finance and property, to the governance and management of housing
associations.
The Board is responsible for defining the
strategy and objectives of the Group. In particular, it
approves the vision, purpose, business and management plans, and
establishes Group wide policies and plans to achieve its
objectives.
The board meets formally at least six times a year and also
spends time in ‘away day’ strategic sessions, and on training and
development.
Robert Dean
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Affinity
Sutton Board member, Robert Dean.
Robert was a long-serving Board member, joining first as a
member of the William Sutton Board in 1998 before moving to the
Affinity Sutton Group Board in October 2006 where he served also as
the chairman of the Treasury Committee.
Before his retirement, Robert, a qualified Chartered Surveyor,
was a partner at prestigious property services firm Savills. He
provided substantial and valuable guidance during his time with us
and will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and sympathy are with his
family at this time.
