Joyce Batten
Independent member
Joyce has worked in social housing in various capacities
over the last 24 years. She has provided consultancy services to a
number of social housing organisations where she has worked as
director, chief executive and chaired a specialist BME Housing
Association. Joyce has also acted as a statutory appointee of a
board, to which she was nominated by the Housing
Corporation.
Joyce has been Chair of the London branch of
the Chartered Institute of Housing from 2000 until 2003 and was
elected as a member of the Governing Council of the CIH from 2004
until 2007. She currently provides a consultancy service through
her own company through which she advises a range of housing
organisations and their supply chain partners on how to provide
skills development and work opportunities for their tenants.
Joyce was appointed member of the Affinity
Sutton board in 2004
Joyce is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute
of Housing.
