Bright ideas challenge
Bright Ideas

In February Affinity Sutton teamed up with charity
UnLtd to find 15 budding young entrepreneurs
who wanted to make a difference to their
neighbourhoods.
Eight aspiring business brains, aged 16 to 25,
from Halton in Leeds and the Dick Lane area of Bradford
have been awarded up to £2000 to bring their ideas to
life. Now three of our aspiring entrepreneurs have
agreed to let us follow them for the next three months as they
bring their ideas to life.
Mum of two Stacey
Bettison, aged 24, is an Affinity Sutton resident in Halton,
Leeds. A former actress, Stacey wants to stage a dance
and drama showcase in July for youngsters aged 8 to 18 living
in the local area.

Tyrone Pryce is 20 years-old and a resident in Tyersal in
Bradford. Tyrone wants to use his £2000 to teach young
people aged 11 to 22 how to MC and express themselves
through music.

Cindy Jackson, 18, from Halton in Leeds, has gender
dysphoria and wants to use her £2000 to film a documentary about
the condition and increase understanding.
