Eligibility
The criteria for this option are similar to Part Buy/Part Rent, although you don’t need to
have savings at the time of renting. You will need the savings and
a deposit to buy your property at a later date and will need
to demonstrate that you can afford the rent and service
charges.

next steps.
If we have a suitable property and we think
you may be eligible, you will be asked to have a free financial
assessment to see what share you can afford.
You will also be asked to complete an
application form with the local HomeBuy agent (the ‘one stop’
registration service for your area) and sometimes you may also need
to be registered with your Local Authority. Specific criteria will
be detailed on the information for each property.
