Whether you join us as a trainee, a senior director or anything in between, we’re committed to your development before you even start. That’s why we invite you to a number of corporate induction days to introduce you to our business and to meet the team of senior managers. 

Your line manager will work with you to design your unique Personal Development Plan, and with regular 1:2:1 meetings we work together to look at your progress every four to six weeks. In addition, 80 per cent of people here say they regularly attend team meetings and are kept well informed of the business matters at hand.

Across the organisation, we invest half a million pounds a year in training. We run our own very successful management development programme, to harness the full potential of prospective leaders. We also run a mentoring scheme to provide guidance, encouragement and inspiration at every stage of our employees’ careers. As part of our commitment to investing in our people, each vacancy is advertised internally across the business. 40 per cent of those jobs go to existing employees; some moves are internal promotions, whilst others are a chance to try something new, and because we’re committed to growing our own we’ll support you every step of the way.
