Hands on!

‘Hands on’ is our new programme that helps staff to help others in a hands on fashion.

Most of us give money to various charities but there’s something much more rewarding about being there in the thick of the action and seeing an immediate benefit to others from your labour.

This scheme encourages staff to do just that by providing a working (i.e. paid and not out of annual leave) day to go somewhere where they can make a difference.

Whether it's to decorate a community centre or dredge a lake, help with an organisation's IT systems or accounting procedures, staff are encouraged to set up their own projects and, if need be, to enlist the help of other colleagues.
