In memory of Betty Doughty

A community mourns

It is with great regret that we announce the passing away of Betty Doughty, Chair of the Turpington Lane Residents’ Association.

Betty was a long standing and active member of the community helping to bring about many improvements and changes to the local area.

Betty’s involvement was not only limited to her local Residents’ Association. She was a member of the Broomleigh Board and the Service Review Committee, using her expertise and experience as a resident to provide direction for the business, and was also a leading member of the Federation of Broomleigh Residents.

Betty’s commitment and drive was a commendable and valued force in the community that will be sadly missed by residents and staff.
