Phillimore Court residents get further computer training

Following the Successful Get Digital Project earlier in the year, the residents of Phillimore Court have continued with their computer learning.

The tutor returned to deliver further sessions which included learning to use Skype and use the newly purchased digital camera to take pictures and email to friends and family.

14 residents took part and the new computer suite facility is based in their communal lounge and is accessible to all those that wish to get involved and learn.

The residents, the majority of which had never switched a computer on before have now learnt how to surf the web, shop online, email friends and family and learn about their local area and family history.
