Flash..... does Easter

Children making baskets

Adults and children had a fantastic time as they joined in the fun and games with Flash leading the way.

Dom, Caitlin, and Aaron from Flash were joined by Affinity Sutton and Plymouth city council wardens to set up an Easter themed fun day.

During the day there were fun activities such as an Easter egg hunt where the children had an opportunity to decorate their baskets which they would use to collect coloured ribbons. With only a maximum of 15 ribbons needed for the biggest prize there was nobody that walked away empty handed.

Other games included, Paper island, egg and spoon race and bunny hop. The afternoon was rounded off with a litter pick which was led by Plymouth City Council which both adults and children were happy to take part in.

The idea of the event was to bring the Barne Barton community together and show that working with each other we can make a difference.

Many of the people attending the day signed up to support Flash and Affinity Sutton to develop future events and activities to help improve the area.
