Local resident wins at TPAS conference!
Local resident, Phil McAllister was one of three South
West region residents who attended the Tenant Participation
Advisory Service National Annual Conference on the
28th and 29th of July in Birmingham.
During the conference Willmot Dixon Partners
Ltd held a ‘Getting It
Right’ survey prize draw. Phil was lucky enough to win this prize
which will see him receive £500 for a community project of his
choice.
Phil said
‘I was totally awestruck and still can’t believe we have
won. I have placed a notice on our block board and several
ideas have already been put forward and are feasible.’
Phil lives in a block of 24 flats in
Illminster, Devon. Resident Involvement staff will support him in
holding an evening to discuss these ideas with residents before
they make a decision on what the money will be used for.
