Reading 'between the lines'

'Between the Lines' was a Free Inter-generational Poetry and Art project for local children and adults that provided an introduction to poetry and art. The event was supported by the Affinity Sutton Community Grants programme.

Each class started with an art project such as drawing and developed a theme with the involvement of the participants, based on poems. The work was displayed and performed in an open Poetry & Art event at Binbrook House, Sutton Way, London W10 on Sunday 24th July 2011. The event took residents on a journey with poems  full of surprising insights and inspiring artwork, live music, drinks and cakes.
