Norman Warlow-Hughes from Tamworth is the West Midlands RAP
Chairperson. Norman has worked relentlessly for many years to
improve the lives of residents on his estate in Tamworth in his
role as secretary of the local residents association. The group has
worked extremely hard over many years to secure a huge amount of
funding to refurbish their local community centre to create a
community café and computer learning centre.
Norman says, “I think the RAP meetings are a
great opportunity to bring residents from different neighbourhoods
together, to actively work towards creating better communities.
Residents are listened too and have an input into changing policies
and procedures which will benefit the estates in the long term by
improving service delivery”.
