Our Board

Aashyana Board

The Board, which consists entirely of independent members, is responsible for exercising effective control over the work of Aashyana Housing Association. It concentrates on corporate issues such as: accountability; financial planning; risk assessment; and the strategic direction of the organisation.

Chair

Shaheen Chaudhry has been an independent board member since 1993 and is currently the chair of the board. Her professional background in the voluntary and public sector means that she has built up an extensive list of professional contacts, which are essential for the future growth of Aashyana.
