Activate London: Wellbeing wagon shows pupils the route
to health
Children as young as three are to get a special
lesson in being healthy – thanks to a new project, funded by the
National Lottery, to encourage healthy lifestyles.
Youngsters and their parents at Blenheim Primary School, Nursery
and Children and Family Centre, in Orpington, can sample some super
healthy fruit smoothies and learn how to make staying fit fun at a
special healthy living roadshow.
Affordable housing provider Affinity Sutton,
which provides services to residents of Broomleigh Housing
Association, has teamed up with the Peabody Trust and five other
housing associations to promote healthy lifestyles through Activate
London.
Staff from Affinity Sutton will be manning the

same time in the centre and parents will be able to register for
any of the courses and classes starting in the New Year and be
entered into a free prize draw to win a healthy Christmas
hamper.
