Affinity Sutton invites contractors to bid for £60M repairs contract

Affinity Sutton has come together to find a contractor to undertake £60 million of repairs work over five years.

Affinity Sutton issued a tender notice on behalf of Broomleigh Housing Association, Downland Housing Association, William Sutton Housing Association and Aashyana Housing Association.

The group already has a number of contracts in place across London and the South East, but now wants to amalgamate them into one contract for around half of all its homes.

The current annual value of the work is estimated at about £12m. There is considerable potential for further growth, both through the assimilation of new properties (currently taking place at the rate of around 1,000 each year) and the possible future addition of additional services including planned maintenance.

However, in the first instance the contract will be for responsive repairs and void services only.

On the 3 June 2011 we are holding a contractors’ half-day event to provide information about itself, the background to the re-tendering of its repairs service, the procurement process, and its expectations for the new contract.  Affinity Sutton does not have expectations on the number of Expressions of Interest (Pre Qualification Questionnaire submissions) it is likely to receive.

The OJEU notice, Contractors Day Invitation, PQQ (pdf and word documents) and Example Evaluation Sheets are available to download. The deadline for PQQ submissions is 20 June 2011
