Bright Ideas video diary

Mum of two Stacey Bettison, 24,  is an Affinity Sutton resident in Halton, Leeds. Here she tells us about her bright idea and her experience so far.   

Hi I'm Stacey and I'm 24.  My bright idea is to stage a dance and drama showcase aimed at children aged eight - 18. 

I have lived on the estate for two years and I have two children, James, 3, and Harry, 1,and a baby on the way.  The reason I decided to do a project like this is because there are plenty of children on our estate that would love to take part in a group but unfortunately have never had the opportunity. 

I'm planning on staging the show at the local church St Wilfreds at the end of July.  Before I took on this project I had never had to organise other people and budgeted to such a degree.  The thought of this was very scary at first and I am still frightened no-one will turn up but I am so glad I went for it.
