Affinity Sutton achieves the gold
standard
Affinity Sutton has become one of just seven housing
associations in the UK –and less than one per cent of all Investors
in People accredited organisations in the country - to achieve the
Investors in People (IIP) Gold award.
Investors in People is a national quality standard awarded to
well-run organisations which demonstrate good management practice
with a high emphasis on best practice, people management, and
personal development
Affinity Sutton achieved its Investors in
People Gold accreditation after a ten day assessment across its
offices around the country. More than sixty members of staff
were also interviewed by the Investors in People team.
Colin Alsop, Lead Investors in People
Assessor, said: “We found an organisation that is focused
upon the on-going improvement of customer service and financial
performance. Affinity Sutton’s people are generally
supportive and caring and are clearly driven by a passion for
customer service and social responsibility. “
Affinity Sutton has also increased its
rating with the Times Best Company survey this year – going from
one to watch to a one star organisation.
Jonathan Cawthra, Group Resources Director for
Affinity Sutton, said: “This is a fantastic
achievement. Our people are clearly driven by a passion for
customer service and social responsibility and believe this is a
great place to work.”
